EMBETECH Ltd. operates in the field of IoT (Internet of Things) and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) providing wireless connectivity solutions for a wide range of applications, including industrial and professional systems, as well as mass and low-cost products. The company was established in November 2015 by two employees of the Faculty of Electronics, Informatics and Telecommunications at the AGH University of Science and Technology with the participation of the Cracow Center for Innovative Technologies INNOAGH Ltd.
The company’s main offering is software solutions that allow the integration into client products of a modern wireless communication stack, based on the IPv6 protocol and capable of operating in large-scale systems, connecting client devices to each other and to the Internet. The solution provides an alternative to popular communication protocols, helping to solve problems very often faced by manufacturers of devices using wireless connectivity. These include the cost and adaptation time of radio communications in their products, reliability and determinism of operation, transmission range, scalability, ease of system integration with the Internet, and the ability to operate devices on battery power. In addition, the Company’s designed services based on the aforementioned new standard overcome the challenges that are currently pointed out as the main inhibitor in the deployment of IoT connectivity systems, i.e. ensuring the security of communications, verification of large-scale solutions, and the ability to safely and conveniently update software in devices. In addition, the Company’s offerings are based on components that can be quickly adapted to an existing hardware platform, and in some customers their implementation involves only the replacement of software in existing products.
In addition to this, the company also carries out service activities in consulting, design, testing and implementation of radio communication systems.
